How a click becomes a commission
The parts of an affiliate program that quietly cost you money are the tracking rules. Here are ours in full, so there are no surprises later.
First touch wins, permanently
An account is attributed to the first partner link it arrives through, and that attribution is never rewritten. Nobody can overwrite your referral by getting their link in front of the same person later.
Paid on every invoice
Commission is credited when a payment actually settles — not when someone starts a checkout, and not when a trial begins. If a card fails and retries successfully, that is when it counts.
Your rate is locked to the sale
Each commission records the rate it was earned at. If we ever renegotiate your percentage upward, the change applies going forward and never quietly rewrites what you have already banked.
Self-referrals do not count
Buying a subscription through your own link earns nothing — it is blocked on both your account and your email address. Worth knowing up front so a test purchase is not mistaken for a bug.
Changing your code retires old links
Your code is the URL. If you change it, every link you have already posted stops resolving — so pick one you can live with, or be ready to update your bios and pinned comments.

- 50% of every payment a referred customer makes, for the life of the customer. Standard rate for all partners.
- Minimum payout
- $20. Below that, transfer fees eat too much of the transfer to be worth sending. Your balance carries over until you reach it.
- How to request
- From your partner portal, once your balance is eligible. One payout can be in flight at a time, so a second request waits until the first is settled.
- Approval
- Reviewed and sent manually. You will see the request move from pending to paid in the portal.
- Refunds & chargebacks
- If a customer refunds, the matching commission is reversed — but only while it is still unpaid. Money already paid out to you is never clawed back.
- Account requirement
- Your portal rides your ordinary GenieCheats account — there is no separate partner password. Keep using the email you were approved with; changing it pauses portal access until the link is restored.

Is the 50% really recurring, or just the first payment?
Really recurring. Every paid invoice from a customer you referred credits you 50% of what they were charged — the first one and every renewal after it, with no end date and no step-down after month one.
This is the part worth checking on any program you join. A “50% commission” that applies once is a different offer from the same number applied to every payment, and the gap between them widens every month.
How much is that per customer, in dollars?
Half of the plan price, every time it is charged:

Do I need a big following?
No. There is no follower minimum. We approve by hand and mostly care that the traffic is real and that you are not planning to promote through spam, so a small engaged audience is more useful to us than a large disengaged one.
When exactly do I get credited?
When a payment settles. Not when someone clicks, not when they create a free account, and not when they open a checkout page and abandon it. If a customer’s card fails and the retry succeeds a day later, the commission lands on the retry.
What happens if someone refunds?
The matching commission is reversed if it is still sitting unpaid in your balance. If it has already been paid out to you, it stays yours — we net it against a future payout rather than reaching into money you have already received.
Can I use my own link to get a discount?
No — self-referral is blocked, both on your own account and on any account sharing your email address. It will not error dramatically, it simply will not attribute or pay.
Is there a separate affiliate login?
No. The partner portal rides the GenieCheats account you already sign in with, so there is no second password to lose. Once you are approved, the partner area appears for that account.
