Why is there no Gimkit answer key?
Gimkit is not a textbook with a fixed set of questions. A kit is a question bank a teacher builds, imports from a spreadsheet or copies from the public library and edits. Two classes playing “Unit 4 Review” are playing two different kits, and your teacher’s version may have been changed ten minutes before the game.
Kits belong to the host

Questions are shuffled

What free methods are there, and why do they fail?
These are the ones that circulate every semester. Each has a reason it stopped being recommended.
- Searching the kit in Gimkit’s library. If the host used a public kit without editing it, you can open the same kit and read the questions with the answers. It works only for unedited public kits, it needs a second screen, and in a live game you cannot search fast enough to keep up.

How should you use it in a live game versus an assignment?
Gimkit has two ways of being played, and the right way to use any answer method is different in each.
- Live games. The host screen is a leaderboard, usually projected. The free outline is the natural fit here: the answer is marked, you click it at your own pace, and your cash climbs at a rate you chose by how fast you clicked. If you are on Ultimate with Full auto, set a delay. Winning by a margin nobody could reach is the thing everyone in the room notices.
- Assignments. Set as homework by teachers on Gimkit Pro, played alone, read later from a report that shows accuracy and completion time. Only your first attempt counts. This is where Full auto with an accuracy target below 100 and a real delay earns its keep, because the report is the only thing the teacher sees and both columns are under your control.
- Team and 2D modes. The question panel is the same wherever Gimkit shows one; what changes is how a correct answer converts to progress. In team modes your answers are pooled, so one player’s perfect run shows up as a team that cannot lose, which is just as visible.
