What it answers
Edpuzzle hides the answer key from students, so EdGenie reads the video instead — then answers each question the way that kind of question needs answering.

No captions on the video? EdGenie transcribes the audio itself, then answers from that. See what each plan unlocks
One plan covers every extension — EdGenie on Edpuzzle, Quizlet Genie on Quizlet, MemGenie on Membean, Delta Genie on DeltaMath, BlookGenie on Blooket, Gimkit Genie on Gimkit and Wayground Genie on Wayground. Weekly, Monthly, Semester and Yearly unlock exactly the same features; only the billing changes.
All of them: multiple choice, polls, notes, select-all-that-apply, and open-ended questions you type an answer into. Each one takes a different route — a single-answer question is graded against the video, a select-all question gets every option audited separately, and a written question is drafted, checked against the prompt’s own rules, and typed into the box.
From the video. Edpuzzle blanks the answer key for anyone who isn’t the teacher, so there is nothing to read off the page — EdGenie pulls the transcript and works the question out from it, paying closest attention to the passage right before the question appears.
It transcribes the audio itself. Videos uploaded straight to Edpuzzle usually have no captions at all, so EdGenie decodes the audio, splits it at natural pauses and transcribes it, then answers from that transcript exactly as it would from captions.
Multiple choice, polls, notes and select-all are free — no plan needed, 30 questions a day — and so are skipping the video and the accuracy chips. Ultimate adds written answers for open-ended questions, transcription for videos with no captions, seeing every answer before the video plays, video speed up to 5× and background play. One plan also covers Delta Genie, MemGenie, Quizlet Genie, BlookGenie, Gimkit Genie, Wayground Genie and IXL Genie.
That’s what the pipeline is for. The answer is written from the transcript, rewritten in a real student voice by the ToHuman humanizer, and checked to read as 0% AI — rewritten again until it does. It is then typed into Edpuzzle’s own box rather than pasted, at a typing speed you set from Relaxed to Instant. Choice questions get a dwell too, so the answer never lands the instant the card appears.
On Ultimate, yes. The Answers list shows every answer before the video plays, and a written answer has its own box — press Write for a draft, or type your own, then Submit. You can stop the run at any point.
