You press Submit. On Full Automation it answers, submits and moves on by itself until the quiz is finished.
Which question types does it handle?
All of them: multiple choice (one answer or select all that apply), true/false, short answer and numeric. Questions with a picture are read by a vision model.
Does it type short answers?
Yes. Exact-answer questions get the exact answer, typed one key at a time like a person. "Explain" and "describe" prompts get one or two sentences in a student's words.
Does it work on teacher-paced quizzes, Space Race and exit tickets?
Yes. On a teacher-paced quiz it answers each question as your teacher opens it and waits in between. Space Race is the same quiz in teams. Exit ticket and quick-question answers are written in your own words.
Why did Socrative mark a short answer wrong?
Socrative grades short answers by exact match against the words your teacher typed in. Genie gives the shortest exact form, but a differently worded right answer can still be marked wrong. Your teacher can regrade it.
What does it cost?
Answers are free on any signed-in account: 25 questions a day, reset at midnight UTC, no card. Unlimited questions and Full Automation are the paid half. All paid tiers include exactly the same features; only the billing differs: $2.99 a week, or $4.99 a month with a 3-day free trial. Yearly is $39.99, and Semester is $24.99 every six months.
