Wayground Answers: How to Get Them in 2026 (Free & Fast)
Wayground is Quizizz under a new name, and every “Quizizz answers” trick from the last five years is being re-searched with the new word in front. Most of them are dead, and the one that half works, opening the quiz in another tab, is now the exact behaviour Wayground’s Anti-Cheating Monitor reports. This guide covers what actually gets you the right answer in 2026, what each method costs you, and what the teacher sees afterwards.
Teachers build or edit their own Wayground quizzes, so there is no universal answer key. Library lookups only work for unedited public quizzes and mean leaving the tab, which the Anti-Cheating Monitor flags after 3 seconds. Old Quizizz scripts are patched. Is Wayground the same as Quizizz?
Yes. Quizizz renamed itself Wayground in 2025. The join codes, the quizzes, the live and homework modes, the reports and Focus Mode (now the Anti-Cheating Monitor) all carried over. If you are reading a Quizizz answers guide from a few years ago, it is describing this platform, but it is describing an older version of its page code, which is why the scripts in those guides no longer load.
That matters for the search you just made. “Wayground answers” has fewer results than “Quizizz answers” because the dead tricks have not been rewritten yet. Treat that as a filter: the methods below are the ones that still apply to the product as it is now.
Why is there no Wayground answer key?
A Wayground quiz is whatever your teacher made it. They can write it from scratch, import it, generate it, or copy a public quiz and change half the questions. The report they get is built around their version, and so is the answer set.
Private quizzes are private
A quiz the teacher made or edited does not appear in the public library. There is nothing to search for.
Shuffled questions and options
Teachers can shuffle question order and answer order per student, so a list in order is useless even when the quiz is public.
Question types beyond multiple choice
Fill in the blank, open-ended, draw, match, reorder and audio responses have no key to copy even in principle.
Sites advertising a Wayground or Quizizz answer key are either scraping public quizzes that may not be yours or are ad pages. The methods that work get the answer from the quiz you are actually in, as it loads.
What free methods are there, and why do they fail?
- Searching the quiz in Wayground’s library. If the teacher used a public quiz without editing it, you can find it by title and preview the questions with answers. It only works for unedited public quizzes, you need to switch tabs to do it, and Wayground’s Anti-Cheating Monitor alerts the teacher after 3 seconds outside the window in sessions where it is on.
- Inspect element and network tricks. Years ago the correct option could be fished out of the page or a network response. Wayground scores on the server and the page no longer gives you the answer in a form you can act on mid-question.
- Old Quizizz scripts and bookmarklets. The “school cheats” family. They target page structures that have changed, and the ones that still run answer instantly, so the report shows one second per question and a full speed bonus every time.
- A friend answering first. In homework mode a friend finishes, reads you their report, and you take the quiz. It works if the quiz is not shuffled and the friend is right, which is two ifs, and it does nothing in a live session.
- Second device. A phone next to the laptop for searching. Slower than it sounds, and the time column records the search time either way.
The shared problem is control. Each method is either too slow to matter in a live game, or it leaves a record of being too fast, or it depends on leaving the tab, which on this platform is the one thing the monitor is built to see.
How does Wayground Genie get the answers?
Wayground Genie is a Chrome extension that sits in the corner of the Wayground game and reads each round as it appears. The correct answer is outlined in green inside the tab, so there is nothing to search and nowhere to go. Three steps:
Add Wayground Genie to Chrome and sign in
Install from the Chrome Web Store on Chrome, Edge or Brave. The free plan needs no card and highlighting has no daily limit.
Join your Wayground game and press Start
Enter the join code as usual, live or homework. When the first question appears, the correct option is outlined in green. You click it yourself.
On Ultimate, turn on Full auto and set your controls
Accuracy at 70, 80, 90 or 100%, a delay from instant up to 12 seconds, and Vary the timing. It clicks for you, misses included, at the pace you chose.
The panel shows the round as it happens and the choice it picked, or, below 100%, the one it missed on purpose. It works on Wayground quizzes only, not on study sets or flashcards, and it covers every subject because it reads the question you are actually playing.
How should you use it in a live session versus homework?
Wayground runs live, with the teacher hosting, or assigned, with a deadline and nobody watching. The right way to use any answer method is different in each.
- Live sessions. The teacher’s dashboard shows a class accuracy meter and everyone’s progress as it happens, and in Test mode the Anti-Cheating Monitor pushes alerts to their screen in real time. The free outline fits here: the answer is marked inside the tab, you click it when you would have, and nothing leaves the window. If you are on Ultimate with Full auto, set a delay, because a full speed bonus on every question is a score the whole leaderboard can see.
- Assigned homework. Taken alone, read later from a report with time taken on every question and the submission time for the whole quiz. This is where Full auto with an accuracy target below 100 and a varied delay earns its place: the report is all the teacher sees, and both columns are yours to shape. If the monitor is on for the assignment, its alerts are in the report too.
- Shuffled quizzes. Teachers often shuffle question and answer order for homework. Methods that depend on a friend’s order fall apart; the outline does not care, because it marks the correct option wherever it is.
Either way, the method is the easy part. Deciding what the time and accuracy columns should look like, and whether this is a session the monitor is watching, is the part worth a minute of thought before you press Start.

70, 80, 90 or 100%. Below 100 it picks a wrong answer deliberately and says so, so the Participants tab shows misses. Ultimate.
Answer delay and jitter
A minimum wait of up to 12 seconds before each answer, varied so the time column is not identical across friends. Ultimate.

On Wayground specifically, the “leaves the tab” column matters as much as the other three. The monitor does not care how you found the answer; it cares that you were gone for more than 3 seconds.
Will you get caught using Wayground answers?
It depends on what your record looks like, not on which method produced it. Wayground’s session report shows the teacher every response with the time taken, and the Anti-Cheating Monitor reports tab switches and leaving full screen, and lists web extensions among the things it can alert on. That last point is worth taking seriously: with the monitor on, assume anything that changes the page can be noticed.
No tool can honestly promise it is undetectable; these controls decide what your record looks like. Wayground Genie gives you accuracy, delay and timing variation and keeps you in the tab. Set accuracy below 100, set a delay you could have read the question in, and do not post a full speed bonus on forty questions in a row.
- Match your own history. If your last three quizzes were in the seventies, a perfect one is the tell.

- Treat Test mode differently. If the monitor is on, the safest record is one with no page changes at all. Decide that before the session starts, not during it.
