It sits in the corner of the CodeHS assignment page. Press Solve this item and the answer appears where you need it: the complete program faded inside the code editor, the correct quiz option outlined, the written answer waiting in its box. Type over the program and it melts away as you get each character right. Then you press Check Code or Submit yourself. On Ultimate, Type it for me writes the program in for you at a human pace.

Every student in a CodeHS course meets the same exercises. Once CodeHS’s own autograder has passed a program for an exercise, that program is served to everyone who meets it next. When no passed program exists yet, the AI writes one from the instructions and the starter code, keeping the starter’s structure. Programs come without teacher-style comment blocks, and when an assignment asks for comments you get plain ones a student would write, different for every account.

On the free plan the program appears faded in the editor and you type over it, which keeps your keystroke history your own. On Ultimate, Type it for me writes it into the editor keystroke by keystroke with real pauses, bursts and line breaks, as fast or as slow as you set, and you can stop it mid-way. Nothing is ever pasted in one go.

CodeHS Genie never pastes and never presses Check Code or Submit for you. On the free plan every keystroke in the editor is yours; on Ultimate the program is typed in with a human rhythm you control, so the assignment’s keystroke history reads like a student at work. On a quiz, Stealth shows the right answer in bold only, with no outline, glow or colour. The extension runs only on the CodeHS assignment page you have open and never touches your CodeHS or school login.

Press Solve again. The autograder’s message is sent back and the program is fixed. A retry on the same exercise never costs another free item. If it still fails after a couple of tries, tell support from the panel with the item’s title and the message. Teacher-graded projects with no autograder still get a program, but the panel cannot tell you whether it passes.
